During our time in CMNS 150 we overview a slide discussing the ideas of social media and transmission as well as the different arenas of communication and feedback. Through this presentation we looked at the concept of the receiver of the media not only being the consumer of the product but the creator as well. Often when we consume media we are unable to respond to it in the same form, ie; watching a television and responding through a mailed letter. With social media however we are presented with a feedback loop between creator and receiver, thus making the positions become interchangeable.
For my CMNS 150 I created a collection of photos to help illustrate and document the Esquimalt estuary and it's natural species. Attached is a link showcasing this collection.
